ACFT: Get the MAX on your MDL!

ACFT MAX score for the Maximum Deadlift (MDL) is 3x reps at 340lbs. DO IT!!

Look guys, if I can do this being a distance runner, YOU can also. I’m even doing this I’m running shoes! 😂

I got 3x @ 355lbs here. 💪

**And for you naysayers out there, I am 110% aware my form is not perfect… we don’t need your negative critical here. I can also assure you I’m avoiding injury. I did not overexert any muscle. Your form won’t always be perfect guys, just do your best and NEVER push past structural pain. If something isn’t right, stop and reevaluate.

The best thing to do to train for a specific exercise is to DO THAT EXERCISE. Train using the hex bar when you practice your deadlifts.

Don’t go too hard too fast. Make sure to warm-up. Make minor jumps every week or so (maybe 5-10lbs). Eventually, as you train and grow, you’ll accomplish the MAX.

You CAN do this. Dig deep. Stay focused and get it done. ⚔️
