Aggravated Battery Suspect Arrested

A month-long investigation has come to an end with the arrest of a Punta Gorda man. 41-year-old Roy Poore was wanted for charges of Aggravated Battery, stemming from a domestic incident which occurred on Rumford Street on July 24th, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said. Poore has been arrested four times in Charlotte County since 2011, including one charge for assault with intent to commit a felony. Deputies captured him on Thursday.
