Woman Tries To Flush The Lizard She Found In The Toilet

Out of all the things a person can find in their toilet bowl (not man made, mind you!), finding something alive that you know has no other way of getting there has to be on the top of the list for the people in Malaysia!

A family living in Kuantan, Ahang, Malaysia woke up on October 2 to a lizard in their home! Before they knew it, the huge reptile had climbed into their floor toilet bowl, while full of water. The animal looks like a fully grown monitor lizard.

A member of the family later said: "Yesterday morning, I woke up and I opened the door of my room and I saw a big lizard outside my room. I was shocked and afraid that it would bite me, so I call my mom to help me. The lizard slowly climbed to the toilet in my house and hide inside the hole. My mom and I tried to get rid of it, but we failed. So we decided to lock the door and call others to help afterward."

Monitor lizards have become a staple in the reptile pet trade. The most commonly kept monitors are the savannah monitor and Ackies monitor, due to their relatively small size, low cost, and relatively calm dispositions with regular handling.
