Rex Tillerson has denied the report that he considered resigning as Secretary of State, but if Hallie Jackson is any indication, NBC News is prepared to stand by its reporting.

In a surprise press conference on Wednesday, Tillerson promoted the Trump Administration’s agenda while denying there was any intervention to convince him to stay on his post. Trump went on a Twitter rampage against NBC before the presser, and by the time it concluded, the president demanded “an apology to AMERICA!” for the “fake news” report.
