Gaddafi: Palestine Resists For All Arabs!

Libya’s former leader, Muammar Gaddafi had strong views about Israel. In this 1988 speech, he alleges that Israel wants to expand and occupy Arab lands - and not just in historic Palestine.

He goes so far as suggesting that Palestinians are on the “frontline” - holding back Israeli attacks on Arab nations.

He also claims that a “new, angry Arab generation” is ready to unite and liberate Palestine.

Gaddafi opposed the peace deals (Camp David Accords) struck by his neighbour Egypt with Israel and condemned then-president Anwar Sadat for his pacifist approach. In his (Gaddafi’s) eyes, peace was not real without freedom and justice for the Palestinian people.
