During March 2022, a 36-year-old man repeatedly violated a restraining order by attempting to contact his ex girlfriend in Tavernier, FL. He went as far as falsely reporting an incident while posing as a New York state trooper. After his initial arrest and release on bond, a new warrant was issued for his impersonation of a police officer, and he willingly turned himself in.
