5 GIRLS AND MYSELF just landed in Windhoek, Namibia and for this epic adventure, we will need some very special vehicles. This is why we picked up not one, but two Toyota Hilux 4X4 overlanders fully equipped with rooftop tents, off road suspension and tires and all the camping equipment you can dream of.

Our first mission is to stuck up on food and other essentials and drive to our first campsite called Daan Viljoen. Once to our destination for the night, we got some well needed practice in setting up camp and mainly the four rooftop tents. I have to say, we did pretty well as a team.

The first night was an overall success but with that being said, we were all very excited about getting deeper into the country of Namibia and away from Windhoek as this camp wasn't really "wild".

Otherwise don't forget to visit Joe's Beerhouse in Windhoek because if you haven't been to Joe's, you haven't been to Namibia. Not the best food ever but the ambiance and decor are so worth it.
