Officer Matthew Knutson, a 13-year veteran with the Green Bay Police department, is accused of misconduct in public office and negligent operation of a vehicle. He allegedly used his squad car to intentionally strike a man who was fleeing from the police in November 2021. The criminal complaint points out disparities between Knutson's report and the released video footage, indicating potential inaccuracies in his account of the incident. As of June 15, 2023, Knutson's attorney filed a motion to dismiss the charges.
