Restoration of military equipment

Russian specialists from repair and restoration units of the Western Military District work on the continuous restoration, repair and modernisation of military equipment and weapons.

To do this, military personnel in one of the directions in the rear zone of the military air defence quickly deployed points for repair and restoration of equipment in the field. Particular attention is paid to the issues of maintenance and repair of arms and military equipment of troops operating at a considerable distance from temporary deployment and deployment points. Thanks to the highly qualified military personnel of the repair units, as well as modern maintenance and repair machines, restoration work of any complexity is carried out in the field.

In order to maintain the high combat effectiveness of units and ensure their continuous conduct of combat operations, first of all, the weapons that are necessary to carry out the combat mission are repaired.

In the video, repairmen are also upgrading and refining weapons based on the MT-LB, installing not only anti-aircraft guns on the towers, but also heavy machine guns, as well as launchers for firing unguided aircraft missiles.
