Spirit.
Cleansing, Transition, Change. Message is: Constant, Teaches
one to let go, trust and to just not try to get through these times,
but to actually embrace and grow, appreciate the experience.
Raise your frequency. Change in perspective.
Cleanse yourself physically and emotionally, purge toxins from
your bodies through diet, herbal baths and plant remedies, but

also honor the natural process of emotional catharsis. Shed
tears. Release.

Transition!
Embrace this stage. Know in your journey you will continue to
land in the right place at the right time…when that time comes.
Changes are unsettling and challenging.
Stay focused. Take the leap. The next one will be revealed.
Again, cleanse your body, mind and spirit of any toxic or
negative energies, activities or people.
Frog medicine adopts the spirit of adventure. Change is about
adventure. Take one leap at a time.
Rosie’s Rumination on my website RoseBlossomTLC.come:
The Nature of Calling. John O’Donohue BlessThe Space
Between Us ~ A Passage
What work is really intended to be: a calling.

“The nature of the calling can change over time, taking a person
down pathways never anticipated. The calling opens new
territories within the heart; this in turn deepens the calling itself.
The faces of the calling change; what at the beginning seemed
simple and clear can become ambivalent and complex as it
unfolds. To develop a heart that is generous and equal to this
complexity is the continual challenge of growth. This is the
creative tension that dwells at the heart of vocation. One is
urged and coaxed beyond the pale regions into rich territories of
risk and promise.
It is devastating to feel trapped in a form of life where you feel
utterly misplaced and all your effort is labored, everything you
do is done against the grain. You take no joy or pleasure in what
you do, and your heart is haunted by alternative lives you will
never have. When you feel like this it can make for a resentful

and bitter life – a life where you are neither seen nor understood
for much of the time – and your gifts remain locked away, never
to emerge. It is clearly time to change what you are doing,
perhaps sacrifice the familiar in order to find your true calling.
Such change can utterly transform your life. It is such a relief
and joy to find the calling that expresses and incarnates your
spirit. When you find that you are doing what you love, what you
were brought here to do, it makes for a rich and contented life.
You have come into rhythm with your longing. Your work and
action emerge naturally; you don’t have to force yourself. Your
energy is immediate. Your passion is clear and creative. A new
calling can open the door into the house of vision and
belonging. You feel at home in your life; heart and hearth are
one.”

Feminine voices. Song by Laurie McClain. Have not forgotten
about Laurie. She is a True Spirit, a Singer songwriter.
Announced to her family at age six Pop music of late 60’s
carried a heavy does of fold music. Laurie gravitated to that
sound. Born August 1 in Los Angeles, California. Family moved
to Lincoln, Nebraska where Laurie played for over a decade at
local clubs before she began touring on the national folk circuit
and playing house concerts, festivals and coffee houses. Laurie
moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997.
Here’s the song from her album, Ascend. The song you’re going
to hear Rosey Glasses – Love song. Change in perspective and
attitude. Indian Summer – New Mexico. Hot during the day,
yellow leaves on trees. Wonderful. Phenomenon. Taking a leap
of faith. Whirlwind romance.

Lyrics to Rosey Glasses
I bought some rose colored glasses
at the Mission Thrift Shop

I was almost driving by
when something told me to stop
49 cents and the world
looks so much better
I’m always looking
for cheap treasure
Then I drove to your house
to see if your light was on
I even parked
and walked up to your door
I could hear you inside
singing my favorite song
but it didn’t sound
the way it did before
our whirlwind romance
never had a chance
lasted from autumn
to the very first snow
I hardly got a memory
to hurt about
just the pain
of fallen high hopes
I heard it in a song
that love is all you need
and I know in my soul
that’s the truth
and the best things
in life are free
and once I wished
I could have shared
those things with you

tomorrow when the sun shines
I’m gonna put my rosy glasses
the weatherman said
it’s gonna be 65
that’s Indian summer in November in Nebraska
I’m gonna breathe in deep
and go back in time
End Part I

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

10/23/23

Ok folks, here we go, Episode Eight, Segment two, Wake up
and Smell the Coffee ~ Theme: Achieving a More Balanced
Work Life.

Gonna take it up a notch and challenge you.
Reminder about the Mugs for Sale. Links at my
Website: RoseBlossomTLC.com and
Latest Newsletter.

Get you thinking Think Twice.
Inna Segal The Secret Language of Your Body. Propensity to
be a Workaholic?
Never still, always busy?
Difficulty saying no?
World end?
Please everyone?
Feeling torn in different directions?
Carry the archetype of the slave?
Often feel like the victim?
Questions to ask yourself.
So, here’s a quote from Masculine Wisdom by Victor La Cerva,
MD and the Pathfinder Card chosen for you. Inquire deeply
about your work. Not about deciding on an occupation, but how
to use your energy in a balanced way. Hunters and gatherers
only worked 3 hours per day to meet basic needs. Many do not
do the same work for a lifetime, but explore more than one
career. Perhaps you have found the right path, but work too
much. Is success at work worth failure at home? Does your
work add to your suffering? Are you seeking, searching,
questing for work that will make you content? Does work honor

your strength and beauty or does it feel like relentless pressure
and erosion of spirit?
On a lifelong journey towards wholeness. You cannot, not
evolve. Childhood innocence. Uphill pilgrimage. Curious
ignorance and instincts. Do you acknowledge and heed to deep
restlessness? Routine can be a killer of spirit. Create change or
get on the open road? Research phase, collecting data, good
decisions and enough head information. Now ask your heart
what to do. Joys of adventure ~ freedom, excitement, discovery
to cut through the confusion of your mind. Invitation to journey
soon. Concept of pilgrimage is ancient’ a time of being an open
mirror of emptiness. Difficulties may develop inner strength and
the courage to create solutions. Physical pilgrimages provide
opportunities for inner explorations. Journeys are not about
denial or escaping. Getting out in the world, reconnects you with
nature and the path of inner truth. A dwelling of your most
cherished dreams and hopes.
Journal? Ask yourself.
What nurtures you and helps you grow?
Schedule an adventure for yourself.
Go someplace new. Even overnight. Take a trip.

We’re going to close with a Fun song by Laurie McClain from
her Ascend album. Have more Fun, more joy. Invite some crazy
ride.
Some Forgotten Dare Enjoy.

Thanks for joining me, Elizabeth Rose. It is my hope that this
whole brain podcast has assisted you in your new daily
creations, and I hope it has wiped away any heavy sands which
have fallen across your eyes and seduced you into a long, long
sleep. Time to wake up now!

Lyrics
Laurie McClain Some Forgotten Dare
it seems you’ve lived a lifetime
in just a few short years
so much intensity
in your laughter and your tears
have you ever thought
about slowing down
taking a real good look around
letting things happen naturally
you are so much like me
it’s like we’re on some crazy
ride at a fair
flying around in circles
never going anywhere
feeling kind of sick
and a little bit scared
all for some forgotten dare
everything you want
is always a minute away
traveling the speed of sound
keeping consequence at bay
but there’s a sadness
inside of you
you’re trying hard to hide
you never stick around
long enough to let it show
it’s clear to me cause I know

well I’m getting too old
now I want to come down
what do you say we jump

the next time we’re near the ground
if we could make it off this midway
lose these barkers and these clowns
I think there’s something
better to be found
