Chemicals in the Environment- Dehumanizing Humanity (Reflection Paper)

In the past decades, chemicals have increased our quality of life wherein we have always been exposed to natural products in foods, smoke from cooking fires, sewage in drinking water, pesticides from plants, etc.

However, the susceptibility to chemicals at critical periods may result in lifelong adverse health effects of these environmental toxins wherein this growing concern due to major global environmental changes and an increase in established links between several diseases and environmental exposures.

Thus, this is a serious problem that needs to put into consideration since industry is largely responsible for this overwhelming epidemic of cancer in which one in every two men get cancer in their lifetime and one in every three women get cancer in their lifetimes.
