Make no mistake, the City of Franklin is experiencing an unprecedented Board of Mayor and Alderman (BOMA) Election. Early voting totals alone are obliterating previous records, and Election Day isn't even here yet. The local and national legacy media have locked arms with the "Republican" political establishment and their support groups in a no holds barred smear campaign against any challengers. Mostly due to a small group of self described White Nationalists known as "The Active Club" who showed up to "ward off Antifa" at a completely uneventful debate at Franklin City Hall, the news media has been able to propagate real fears in wealthy mainstream suburbanites that the fourth Reich is actually going to rise in our city...if the incumbents aren't re-elected. Simply for supporting some of the challengers, I've personally been called a "Nazi" more times than I care to remember these last two weeks. Even John Oliver of HBO has stoked these fires.

But is there any real bigotry or racism going on? Any actual evidence of race based mistreatment? Actually, YES. But not from the source the mainstream media will likely ever cover.

Enter BK Muvalla. An Indian Immigrant and Franklin resident for over 10 years who loves his city. He is running against Greg Caesar for Alderman at Large. He is heavily involved in local charities, non-profit work, police academy training, and owns two successful IT businesses in town boot. But, he is being told to "drop out" of the race. Why?
