Yuuki Joins the Joja Route of Stardew Valley (Read Description for Context / FAQ)

Time for some farming, fishing, combat, and making money in Stardew Valley. A new adventure is about to begin as we play Stardew Valley. YuukiCoin contributions begin in the second stream. You can purchase plots of land (2X3) for 1500 YuukiCoin once its up. This is before the upcoming 1.6 update.

CONTEXT FOR STREAM: For this one, we are doing the Summer and Fall seasons of year 1 in Stardew Valley. In addition to this, we are going the Joja route, where you can fund community projects through gold instead of finding items for the community center. If we do a second playthrough, we will be going through the community center instead. Doing either the community center OR Joja allows us to go to the other areas like the Quarry, Skull Mines, in late game play, but doing the Joja route allows us to have an easier time just by farming or fishing to sell for gold instead of finding certain items for the community center. A lot of players say that this is the main quest of Stardew Valley.

FAQ - Answers are based on research I did for the game

1) Is Joja Mart required to go to the further areas of the game?
A) Yes, because these areas late game will require you to fix the bridge, mine carts, and bus. You can have these services repaired by doing Joja or by completing the community center packages

2) Joja Mart or Community Center? Which is better?
A) Depends on what you are good at. If you are good at making gold, go for the Joja Mart route. If you are good at finding items AND knowing the season, go for the community center . Either one will give you access to these areas when requirements are completed

3) Can you change your route later?
A) No you cannot. This is because if you go the Joja Route, they will replace the community center with the Joja warehouse. Same thing if you go the community center, where they replace parts of Joja. To change your route, you need to start a new file

4) How to use the Joja Route?
A) In the Joja Mart, pay a membership fee of 5000 gold. Sleep for the night to enter the next day and return there to see that the manager, Morris, has the community form. This form allows you to complete the projects using gold instead of finding items

5) Benefits of the Joja Route?
A) When completed, you have access to the Auto Petter item. This allows your animal friends to be petted for you without you doing it. Animal friendship stays up AND it will help you with farm animals since they can leave more items at max friendship and max mood . You can also get the Joja Vending machine for free and you get soda per day. Unlike the community center, you get nothing

6) How early can you go for the Joja Route?
A) Day 5 of the game. You can go into Pieres shop and Morris will enter with 50% off Joja coupons cutscene. Just note that you still have to go to the Joja Mart to pay the 5000 gold membership fee.

7) Easy way to get 5000 gold?
A) Try fishing and farming and making sure to sell your crops in bulk. If you go early combat, mine some good stuff and you can earn money that way. Ores and bars will give you money if you sell them, but keep in mind that if you do go for ores and bars, you will not be able to craft other items until you find more of them as some crafting recipes will require bars and some ores
