When Butters Stotch proudly shares his earnings from his ice cream parlor job with his friends, it sparks jealousy in Eric Cartman, prompting him to join the same shop. However, Cartman quickly exhibits a poor work ethic and decides he'd rather not work for someone else's profit. He quits, persuading Butters to allocate a portion of his salary to him and Kenny McCormick for renovating their old hot dog stand. This arrangement frustrates Butters due to the delays caused by Cartman and Kenny's laziness, and their questionable decisions for the stand. In the end, Butters takes matters into his own hands, successfully running the hot dog stand. He eventually sells it to overseas investors, using the funds to buy back the Cartman's old home, leaving Cartman yearning for the quirky-named DikinBaus.
