Man Finds A Nest Of Rosella Parrots Inside A Fence Post

A flock of Rosella birds found a very creative place to nest their home. So this is how the story goes "I found a nest of Rosellas inside a fence post at a farm near Sydney, Australia, on June 1, 2005 in the Central Coast".

These colorful parrots from Australia are "broad-tailed" or "flat-tailed". Rosellas are native to Australia and nearby islands, where they inhabit forests, woodlands, farmlands, and suburban parks and gardens.

Rosellas are medium-sized parrots with long tails. The feathers on their backs show an obvious scalloping appearance with coloring that differs between the species. All species have distinctive cheek patches.

This man uses his camera to film the flock of Rosella birds that have nested inside a fence post. It is funny how the birds react when he comes near them with the camera. They immediately start making noises, trying to tell him to go away and stop intruding their privacy.

There are so cute, all tucked next to each another, cuddling and sleeping together at the foot of the fence post.

The second time the man comes into their nest, filming with his camera and using his strange-sounding voice to greet them, the birds start making even more intense sounds, seemingly agitated by his presence.

From bird's perspective, they look like a bouquet of flowers, so adorable.
