During my latest visit to central India to film and photograph some of my country's incredible biodiversity for my Tiger Country series, I accidentally deleted some of the still images and footage in-camera before transferring it to my hard drive.

In an uncanny coincidence, a company called Wondershare reached out to me to make a video for their data recovery software called Wondershare Recoverit. Of course, the timing couldn't be better because Canon India sent me the EOS R5 to play with and most of the lost video was captured in 8K (IPB Lite for smooth workflow and manageable file sizes).

Not only was I able to recover the original files, but I've also processed and colour corrected them hassle-free. This video has glimpses of episodes 3 & 4 of Tiger Country, co-produced by Pugdundee Safaris. I'm happy to share that this is the first YouTube video to feature Tigers and other Indian wildlife in 8K.
