Pray for the peace

NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES GOD COMMAND ANYONE TO PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF ISRAEL. However, if you wished to be blessed you do this or if you desire to be cursed you don't do this. As a general rule of thumb, there are many things you can pray for and be blessed and many things you don't pray about that can be a curse. But NOWHERE, I mean NOWHERE is this a commandment from God, in fact PSALM isn't about commandments, but songs/prayers from King David. Refer back to The 10 Commandments and Leviticus for commandments from God. The Psalmist encourages us to pray for Israel in, Psalms 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you". Psalm 122 carries the title A Song of Ascents. Of David. It is one of the four Songs of Ascents that is specifically attributed to King David. David’s prayer for peace begins within the city walls and extends to the watchtowers. He desires Jerusalem to be at peace on all sides – both the people dwelling inside and those standing guard.
