THE FOOLISHNESS (IDIOCY) OF CHRISTIANS WHO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN

I'm amazed every year at the numbers of people who don't see any issue of going through the motions of Halloween. I guess I've seen too many adults who began their venture as kids towards being entertained by evil... that I've had to cast demons out of. It's not just those who aspire to wickedness, it's those given to entertainment through Harry Potter, The Witches, Hocus Pocus, The Craft, Nightbooks, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Twilight, Fright Night, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and so many more. The demonic realm is often given leverage and foothold through these and other horror or demonic movies and "special" events like "haunted houses." Later, they complain about having nightmares or inability to sleep... sometimes they are consumed by fear or an inability to really worship God.

You have to understand, parents please do, the war against your children is not really a war on their identity... it begins way before that... it's a war over their minds and thoughts. The greatest battles we all fight are there. When we open the greatest futures and destinies that we have to demonic access... we are selling out our children.

To be sure, it's many times the most religious who don't think it has any impact. They believe it's all "make believe" and that dressing up to celebrate with others who do the same thing, is just a cultural norm...but it's not. It exposes and actually teaches children that is okay to mess around with evil...and so... many do and will set the futures in danger.

In my early twenties I was delivered from a spirit that wanted to control my life. I didn't think it was a problem to engage in martial arts...but learned that was what the demon who was so wrapped up in eastern mystical religion ... was telling me... and it became a powerful allegiance to things against the very nature of God. To be sure, it was a hindrance to the move of the Spirit of God in my life. When I was delivered from this demonic stronghold, that had captured elements of my mind, thoughts and opinions the movement of The Holy Spirit was able to move in my life. It truly was an "ah ha" when I was freed from it. Depression and anger left me and joy entered. Not to say I've never dealt with those things, but they don't have power over me. Rage was gone. Suicidal thoughts were gone.

My questions to those contemplating the coming demonic celebration is this. "Are you willing to remove those things that are potentially creating access avenues in your life and the lives of your children?" "Do you want the Holy Spirit more involved in producing Godly wisdom and character in you through your mind, or is entertainment through these things mentioned too important for you?" I can tell you that if you are feeling uncomfortable about that second question, it's likely that the demonic has already accessed your mind. The easiest deliverance is simply repenting and renouncing those things in your life and family and moving in a different direction.

Free Will is something we all have. I pray that your will is surrendered to God's Will. Don't worry about offending those friends and family because you choose the correct path...they will be...because they likely know it in their conscience too.

Choose God as the master of your mind and thoughts.

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
“Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is." Ephesians 5:8-17
