BEN SEBASTIAN: 'WHAT GOD WANTS' - Official Music Video [ROGER WATERS] [METAL COVER VERSION]

@rogerwaters has inspired me throughout my life, be it with Pink Floyd but perhaps even moreso solo. His 'Amused To Death' album left a huge impression on me as a teenager and I have long desired to recreate his 'What God Wants' (parts I, II. and III) but in my own musical form but lacked the confidence. I'm so happy to say that over the last 48 days I have, piece by piece, done it! It's been a huge learning curve, I have discovered even more of Waters's nuance during the process.

Purists will note that the total 14 minutes of the three parts have been condensed, and some of the lyrics ommitted, even changed to suit the music. I chose this route to keep a 'metal' pace, and bring a couple of lyrics up-to-date either by their omission, or by their 'tweaking'; to fit. However, on the whole, I believe I kept as close to the original as is possible when transposing such work into a metal format.

What God Wants has been quite a mean feat I must say and I hope it is enjoyed by the surprising amount of metal-lovers that have come to me through social media as I have posted my work-in-progress to say "OMG I love this album (Amused To Death)", and couldn't believe they'd found a kindred appreciant of the 1992 (omg I was only 9 at the time!!!) album. I thank everyone for their support and I thank YOU today for coming to watch/listen.

...and of course, a HUGE thank you to Roger Waters himself, I wonder what he would make of it!
