Wild chamomile in the house

When I was digging the garden, I accidentally dug up one chamomile. I felt sorry for this flower. I put the chamomile in a jar of water. Within a few weeks, the flower grew long roots. Now I want to plant chamomile in a pot of soil. Perhaps wild chamomile can live in the house for the winter.
