Hiking Johnson Pond Trail in Withlacoochee State Forest Central Florida

Johnson Pond Trail provides a walk through sandhills and oak scrub, touching on prairies along its 2.7-mile loop. I like it because I have never gotten a tick, it is fairly bug free, well maintained, easy hike, any time of year.
