The House of Darkness (1913) 🐱 Cat Movies 🎥🐈

Short film directed by D. W. Griffith for the Biograph Company. The film shows how music calms the mind and promotes music therapy for the mentally ill.

A doctor (Lionel Barrymore), who lives in a house inside the hospice where he works, gives a cat as a gift to his wife (Claire McDowell).

When he leaves home, an unbalanced man (Charles Hill Mailes) escapes from the mental institution, breaks into the doctor's house and finds his wife alone with the cat.
