Have you ever taken a path less travelled?

One of my first jobs was a Visual Effects Supervisor at a small advertising agency. This contrasted with my Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia studies with a major in Graphic Design Illustration (you know, art for kids' books and the like).

Here I share about how I mastered and used off-the-shelf Adobe After Effects and Media 100 on slow Apple PowerMacs to win a TV commercial job for Unilever against expensive post-production shops (which had Quantel Henry, Flame and Inferno workstations), at some personal cost.

I also benefitted greatly from this plunge into the unknown. "Fear not, for the Lord your God is with you." Thank God for this wonderful experience and knowledge.
