Rookie Crew Sails Cabo from BEYC to Diamond Cay – Sailing SV Cabo #33

Kinto picks us up from Cabo in the water taxi and takes us to the Bitter End Yacht Club for dinner. We do a drift snorkel at the reef north of Virgin Gorda with the dinghy in tow. We visit the beach at Eustatia Island and looked around. Lon & Linda take a sail on a hobie cat around the North Sound. Kinto picks us again and takes us to Saba Rock and we see the feeding of the Tarpon which is amazing. We tour the island and look around and I love the deck and Adirondack chairs with peaceful view north. We have a lovely dinner and Kinto takes us back to Cabo. The next morning, we cast off and set sail for Jost Van Dyke. The rookie crew does all the work of raising the sails and sailing Cabo to our next destination including unfurling the genoa and sailing her to Jost Van Dyke. The rest of the crew finds comfortable places to relax and enjoy the journey. The crew takes the main down and furls the genoa and we head to the mooring field at Diamond Key and get a mooring ball. They guys do a great job of managing the boat getting us there safely.
