UPC Presidency friction - Peter Walubiri faction wants Akena out of office

The leadership conflict within the UPC party has taken a new turn as the faction led by Peter Walubiri has issued an ultimatum to the Jimmy Akena team, demanding they respect a recent court ruling and vacate Uganda House immediately.
The Peter Walubiri faction addressed the media in Kampala this Thursday afternoon, in response to the Supreme Court's decision on October 13, 2023, which nullified Jimmy Akena's leadership.
