Channel Update - New Course Coming 'Black Hat Ransom' | Ethical | Offensive Security

An announcement about my upcoming course 'Black Hat Ransom'. The course is a series of lessons taking you through the stages of a ransomware attack. This is an offensive security course for educational purposes. It will be of interest to those pursuing a career in pen testing or red teaming. But the lessons will include security tips for general viewers.

The lessons will be demonstrations and no real organisations are targeted. I have created a fictional employee and organisation for the simulation. I will upload one course lesson per week like I have done for the Linux course.

I hope to upload the first lesson around mid to late November. You can also join the Discord. It would be nice to get the numbers up on the server to talk about security, ethical hacking and privacy!

content moderation.

I have dropped the pitch of my voice for the videos and use the
alias of Brian Bladen for privacy reasons. I am also paranoid
of being hacked!

My recommended products (so far) that I use as a lone wolf operator:

Malwarebytes Premium - Antimalware software suitable for personal use
and not an option for business users. Affiliate link included - feel free
to go to Malwarebytes in your browser if you don't want to include my link

CyberGhost - I had no problems with this VPN and highly recommend. They
are based in Romania where the laws on privacy are not so strict.
Not truly anonymous but good for privacy.

KeePass - Excellent offline password manager that I recommend rather
than using a cloud service. https://keepass.info/
