Russian arrest of journo is likely harassment: US

The Biden administration said on Thursday that it was aware of reports Russia has detained an editor at U.S.-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, and said it appeared to be Russian harassment. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said Alsu Kurmasheva, who works for RFE/RL's Tatar-Bashkir Service and holds U.S. and Russian passports, entered Russia on May 20.
