Henry Ford and Ascension Michigan are announcing a joint venture.

Under the deal, Ascension's Southeast Michigan hospitals are now operating as Henry Ford Health facilities. Seven hospitals are affected by the move, including Ascension St. John's Hospital in Detroit. All other Henry Ford operated hospitals will remain unaffected, including the four in Metro Detroit and one in Jackson.
