NEW REPORT: June 26, 2023 - How Far have UTAH Home Prices FALLEN Since the PEAK of the MARKET? I'm going to compare the peak of the Utah housing market vs. today. In May in 2022, 4,059 homes were sold compared to 3,389 this last month. That’s a decrease of 670 units sold. In May of 2022, a home sold in just 6 days. It takes 17 days longer to sell a home today. The median price per sq.ft. at the peak was $244. We are down $18/sq.ft. In May 2022 the Median Sold price for a single-family home nearly hit $600,000 compared to $541,000 today. The median sold price is $57,500 less than the peak. At one point home values were down by over $100,000. Home prices are now up 4 months in a row.
