Perfect Dark (N64) Bot Deathmatch (Complex) -No Commentary- | Hyperkin 3-In-1 HDTV Cable |

Just showing some bot deathmatch gameplay for Perfect Dark in the Complex level. The reason this footage is in 16:9 is that Perfect Dark actually has a 16:9 viewing option which is incredibly rare for N64 games. The Hyperkin 3-in-one cable lets you easily shift the aspect ratio from 4:3 into 16:9 with a switch on the device.

As far as bot deathmatches go, I definitely put an absurd amount of hours into Perfect Dark. My biggest complaint has always been that stupid blur effect that happens when you get melee'd in this game. It's especially annoying that it even follows you into the next life after you respawn. For the time, this was easily the best bot deathmatches to be had on consoles, however, once I got my hands on a PS2, and Timesplitters which does everything PD does (in bot deathmatches that is), and more, I have a hard time coming back to the PD series, even Zero. I would say that the entire Timesplitters series was the pinnacle of the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark style of local/bot multiplayer.

That being said, I do still enjoy the bot matches in Perfect Dark. I love me some bot deathmatches in general. Just because Timesplitters surpassed it very quickly, doesn't mean that PD's bot deathmatches aren't still really fun to play, even with the stupid blur effect. I also enjoy the single player mode in Perfect Dark, even if it wasn't nearly as memorable to me as Goledneye's sp was. That, however, is because of where I was at in life when PD hit, versus when GE hit. I played Goldeneye a lot more.
