The IOC has granted permission for five new sports to be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, including cricket. The other sports are squash, baseball/softball, lacrosse, and flag football.
The IOC has given the right to include new sports to the host countries. The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France, and the 2028 Olympics will be held in Los Angeles, USA.
