In the deep, often unconscious memories of people, water and the sea are the trhe intertwined motifs and the secret root cause of all things. Even in the rich lore of myths and legends of most nations there permiate these same collective memories not only of the land of the native soil, but also of the gods and people who were born straight out of the sea.

This explaines the almost premordial urge of most people to experience how it feels to live on sea, to take off one day into the open oceans for weeks and weeks in a row and fulfuill their zest for the fresh and humid ocean breeze.

For those who are not in the situation to live their dreams, there is, luckily, one man who has documented his own experience through a overwhelming time-lapse video. He managed to capture the many moods of the ocean during his 30 day journey from the Red Sea to Hong Kong by shipping barge.

YouTuber JeffHK from Hong Kong traveled through eight separate bodies of water, via the Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean, Colombo, Malacca Strait, Singapore, and South East China Sea. The result, which includes 80,000 photographs, is dazzling.

During his travels, Jeff saw captured dark night skies speckled with star glitter and the the way the ocean darkens beneath roaring thunderstorms. He saw both sunrises and bright port lights blaze across the waves, and captured the Milky Way in all its splendor.

This is what Jeff has to say about his video: "30 Days of Timelapse, about 80,000 photos combined. 1500GB of Project files. Sailing in the open ocean is a unique feeling and experience.I hope to capture and share it for everyone to see. The route was from the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden to the Indian Ocean to Colombo to Malacca Strait to Singapore to South East China Sea to Hong Kong."

Those who have seen the mesmerizing footage have thanked Jeff for taking them with him on this remarkable trip; a journey many of us will never have the chance to take in reality.

We want you to stay in the eleveated mood a bit longer, so we found yet anoter amazing video Watch bubbles freeze at -14 Fahrenheit. Check out how cool it looks when these bubbles freeze over during a wicked cold snap in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Amazing!

If you blow soap bubbles in freezing cold weather, amazing crystals of ice form on their surface as the water is between two thin layers of soapy film, starting at the bottom and expanding upwards until the entire bubble is covered. The crystal formations start like tiny snowflakes that gradually grow into bigger, magnificent creations.

The period of winter is amazing because we see layers of fluffy white snow covering the ground under our feet that look like big marshmallows. This magical moment was filmed in January 2018 in Red Deer in Canada. Such a pleasing sight it is to see the incredible progression of ice crystals forming and swirling around in the soap bubble as it freezes.

It takes Zed a few tries to get his bubble completely frozen before bursting, but the strong winds made it look almost impossible to achieve. This wouldn’t have been a science video if our scientist didn’t make every possible attempt to get it right!

The experiment might not have been a total success, but watching every single one of those fragile things freeze over and then pop like ornaments made out of fine glass was magical!
