Pet of the week: 4-month-old Nitro is loving puppy searching for his forever family

According to the American Kennel Club, many hound types are sweet-tempered, affectionate and easygoing. They were originally bred for hunting. Shelter workers say Nitro is happy, loving, and ready to find his forever family. Nitro is expected to be a medium to large dog. Because of his breed, he is not suited for apartment living. Nitro is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
