"No Fundamental Right Of Same-Sex Couples To Marry," Says India's Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of India has refused to grant constitutional validity to same-sex marriages by a 3-2 majority. The Supreme Court said the Centre's high-powered committee will examine concerns of same-sex couples. The court also did not provide rights for queer couples to jointly adopt.
