Mississauga: “We're the men of Mohammad Deif,”Al-Qassam Brigades’ Chief Commander

On October 14, 2023, thousands participated in a rally to support the “Palestinian resistance” in Gaza. The rally was organized by the Palestine Youth Movement (PYM) and co-sponsored by Actions4Palestine, Al-Quds Toronto, Independent Jewish Voices and Toronto4Palestine.

Two days earlier the Palestinian Youth Movement issued the following statement:

🚨MISSISSAUGA — ALL OUT FOR GAZA 🚨
In the past few days, the Zionist occupation has been relentlessly bombing Gaza — targetting civilan infrastructure, and displacing over 200,000 Palestinians. This is an attempt to collectively punish the Palestinian people for practicing their right to resist colonial occupation.
Join us as we flood the streets of Mississauga on Saturday, October 14 with our unwavering support for our people's right to return and liberation ✊🇵🇸
