Picadillo - Becker's Easy Eats Season 5 Episode 10

Picadillo is a savory and aromatic Latin American dish, often associated with Cuban and Mexican cuisine. It features ground meat, typically beef or pork, cooked with a medley of ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, raisins, olives, and spices. The resulting dish offers a sweet-savory balance and is often served with rice, tortillas or tacos.

PICADILLO

Ingredients:
600g lean ground beef
1 yellow onion (chopped)
1 red or yellow bell pepper (chopped)
5 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup chicken or beef broth
1 can chopped tomatoes
2-3 small potatoes
½ cup stuffed green olives (include brine)
Raisins (optional)
Olive oil to cook
Chopped parsley for garnish

1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp dried parsley
2 pcs dried bay leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
