Don’t let your career development depend on your employer (and do these 3 things instead!)

Don’t risk becoming overly dependent on the company you work for. Do the best you can while you there, but change your mindset from a more ‘company-centric’ mindset to a more ‘you-centric’ mindset. Always be in a position to negotiate by mastering the skill of job hunting. This way you’ll create job security for yourself.
