Middle East History 101: Lesson Two

This lesson is an overarching view of the history of the British double-dealing during World War One. It does not go into the cause of the war, which was "created" to carve up the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Empires AND Russia. The British diplomats at the Versailles Peace Conference stated that their goal was to "carve up Russia."
