STOP QUOTING FINLAND & THE WINTER WAR WITH USSR - Finland lost the war.... twice....

People need to stop quoting Finland's war with USSR as if it was a positive example against perceived Russian imperialism....

Its not.

Finland lost both wars, 2nd one as an ally of Nazi Germany.... in both cases, Finland lost territory.

The 2nd one was worse, Finland was forced not just to cede territory, but to be demilitarised, pay reparations and "leave the military alliance"....

I highly suggest people to stop using Finland as a positive example on how dealing with Russians. They are not that great....

especially the parallels are indeed looking pretty stark, its bad info war angle....
