Egg Drop Soup - Enhanced Broth

Egg drop soup on a carnivore diet just makes sense. Broth and eggs, what else could be better? Maybe some steak, but that's for next time.

RECIPE

2 Cups Chicken Stock or Broth
2 Eggs
1/2" Chunk Ginger, Peeled
3 Garlic Cloves
3 Sprigs of Scallions
1 1/2 Tbsp Liquid Aminos or Tamari
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Packet Unflavored Gelatin

1) Take two of your sprigs of Scallions and roast them in an oven at high heat for 3-5 minutes or throw them directly over an open fire to get some char. Slice the remaining spring for garnish later.
2) In a pot, add in your Broth, Ginger, Garlic, Charred Scallions, Liquid Aminos, and pepper. Put the heat to medium high and being to a boil. Once boiling reduce heat to bring to a simmer for at least 5 minutes.
3) Add in your gelatin packet while it's still simmering and mix in.
4) Add eggs to a bowl and lightly whisk.
5) After 5 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and remove all of your vegetation. Let cool slightly for 1-2 minutes. After that time, pour in your eggs and lightly mix. Serve.
