Ingredients:
120 g of ginger
Juice of 4 or 5 lemons

Instructions:
1. Wash the ginger thoroughly and chop it into small pieces to make it easier to blend. You don’t need to peel it if it’s organic.

2. Place the chopped ginger into a high-speed blender and add the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Blend until smooth.

3. Pour the lemon and ginger mixture into ice cube trays and place the ice cube trays in the freezer. Allow the lemon and ginger mixture to freeze completely. This should take a few hours or overnight.

4. When you’re ready to make tea, simply add one or two lemon and ginger ice cubes to a cup and add warm water (room temperature is good too if you want to keep Vit C intact)

Lemon and ginger have been used traditionally for their digestive benefits. Here’s why they can be helpful:

🫚 Ginger: Ginger contains bioactive compounds like gingerol, which has been shown to aid digestion and reduce bloating. It can help relax the gastrointestinal muscles, reducing gas and bloating. Additionally, ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that may ease digestive discomfort.

🍋 Lemon: Lemon is a good source of vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that supports the immune system and may help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract. Lemon juice also stimulates the production of bile, which aids in digestion. Keep in mind that to preserve the maximum amount of vitamin C in lemon juice, it’s best to use warm or room temperature water instead of boiling water.
