Brick Cleaning Cambridge

Hi everyone. This was a brick cleaning job that I carried out in spring (April) this year, that I wasn't too sure about posting. I say that because the GoPro I was using at the time kept playing up and freezing some of the footage.....but I had a good look through the footage, and decided that there was enough there to show most of the clean, and the transformation achieved.
I've cleaned a lot of brickwork over the years, but have not seen anything quite like this in these quantities before. Normally, in my experience, when cleaning walls like brick or render, there is a very thin film of organic matter that is usually tackled by soft washing. But the organic growth on these houses had grown into a relatively thick crust of mould, lichen & fungus, and had become a real eyesore for the new tenants of this recently sold, ex-RAF housing estate.
I ended up cleaning another 7 of these houses over the next few months, as new buyers moved in and I was recommended each time. Happy Days!

Hope you enjoy watching the considerable transformation to the brickwork, all the best, Nick. 🙂
