Alhamdulillah Ala Kulli Haal الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ | Tasbih-e-Shukr | Four Times

Alhamdulillah Ala Kulli Haal الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ
All praise and thanks are only for Allah in all circumstances.

It is used as a way of accepting and surrendering to difficult circumstances, as a way of trusting in Allah’s plan and to express their appreciation for their lord in all circumstances.

Using the phrase has powerful benefits as it teaches us that we should always be grateful and thankful for whatever Allah decides for us, regardless of the condition. As no matter how bad you may think it is, it is for the greater good. Besides, it could have been worse.

Saying it in a bad situation is a Sunnah and if something happened that displeased the Prophet (ﷺ), he used to say: “Alḥamdu lillāhi `alā kulli ḥāl.”
