I've been using this thing wrong for the longest time for vertical content. It is a very nice solution for mobile video making. In fact when I got the first one I thought I had broken it but all of them were the same. Then finally a few days ago I realized an alternate way to film with it to keep the video level while vertical. If you've had this problem now you know.
