An overwhelming number of migrants are coming through the southern border and Texas has had enough. It's looking for ways to supplement law enforcement at the border, and it's considering using Texas citizens to do so. Texas House Bill 20 would allow trained citizens to stop people at any of Texas's borders, and they could even be trained to make arrests, which some critics have warned could turn into a "vigilante death squad."
