Why did the SAG-AFTRA / AMPTP talks break down this week? THe reason, according to Netflix Ted Sarandos, is that SAG-AFTRA basically wants to "tax" every streaming subscriber and have that money go to them. Apparently, this was enough for the studios to slam the door in their faces.
