Gaza evacuation: Israel warns people must leave north

More than one million people living in northern Gaza have been told evacuate as Israel prepares to launch its expected ground offensive.

Civilians must head south between 10am and 4pm local time on Saturday, using two routes, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The call for a mass evacuation has been condemned by humanitarian groups and described by UN chief António Guterres as extremely hazardous.
