Randal Quran Reid was pulled over by Georgia police but is mistakenly identified by faulty facial recognition software. Suspected of crimes in Louisiana he was held for several days in jail. The mishap was on Louisiana's end because the technology doesn’t work as well on people of color. This match was the sole reason for issuing an arrest warrant. Is this an abuse of power? Yes, yes it is.
