Police In Rome Reach The End Of Their Rope As This Massive Pro-Palestinian Rally Turned Violent

Rome, OCT 13 - Tension erupted between police and student demonstrators at a pro-Palestinian march in Rome Friday. The students deviated from the route agreed with police chiefs and the police intervened. The students threw eggs and smoke bombs towards the cordon of agents.

The demonstrators shouted "Stop massacring Gaza, stop the genocide, Free Palestine" and "Enough indifference, peace is freeing Palestine and giving the Palestinians land". They waved hundreds of Palestinian flags, let off red flares and chanted slogans against Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu.
