Adam Cooper, Ward 6 Councilor for the City of Cambridge, ON, appeared as a delegation to the Regional Council of Waterloo, in opposition to a proposed by-law amendment that sought to give muncipal by-law enforcers the power to remove citizens from public property and fine them $250 if they are accused of making people who identify as LGBT "feel worried" or "feel troubled". This by-law was opposed by many in the community who recognize that it can be weaponized by LGBT activists and woke municipal staff/councilors to cancel freedom of expression.
